Centennial exhibition of graphic artist Anna F. Györffy
Anna F. Györffy (1915–2006) was born near Kolozsvár (today Cluj-Napoca, Romania) in the village of Szucság, where she spent a lot of time at her maternal grandparents’ home. Country life, being surrounded by animals and nature, as well as the traditions of the Kalotaszeg region, made a lasting impression on her, which she drew inspiration from, both as a designer and a children’s book illustrator.
